The microswitch is a switch mechanism with small contact spacing and rapid action. It is switched by a specified stroke and a specified force. It is covered by a shell with a drive rod on the outside. Because of its small contact interval, the micro switch is widely used in electronic equipment, instruments, mines, power systems, household appliances, electrical equipment, and aerospace, aviation, ships, missiles, tanks and other military fields.

There are many kinds of micro switches, and there are hundreds of kinds of internal structures. According to volume points, there are ordinary, small and ultra-small. According to the protection performance, there are waterproof type, dustproof type and explosion-proof type. According to the disconnection form, there are single-connection type, double-connection type and multi-connection type. There is also a strong disconnect micro switch (when the reed of the switch does not work, the external force can also close the switch); according to the breaking capacity, there are ordinary type, DC type, micro current type and high current type.

General micro switch is based on no auxiliary press accessories, derived from the small stroke type and large stroke type. Different auxiliary pressing attachments can be added as required. According to the different pressing accessories added, the switch can be divided into button type, reed roller type, lever roller type, short arm type, long arm type and other forms. External mechanical force acts on the action reed through transmission elements (push pins, buttons, levers, rollers, etc.).), When the action reed moves to the critical point, an instantaneous action is generated, so that the moving contact and the fixed contact at the end of the action reed are quickly turned on or off. When the force on the transmission element is eliminated, the acting reed produces a reverse force. When the reverse stroke of the transmission element reaches the critical point of the reed, the reverse action is completed instantly. The micro switch has the advantages of small contact distance, short stroke, small pressing force and fast switching. The speed of movement of the movable contact is independent of the speed of movement of the transmission element.

The parameter characteristics of the micro switch:

1. Rating: generally refers to the value of the switch characteristics and performance guarantee benchmark, such as rated current, rated voltage, etc. The premise is specific conditions (load type, current, voltage, frequency, etc.).

2. Resin fixing (plastic terminal): After the terminal part is wired with wires, the part is fixed by filling the resin, and the exposed charged part is eliminated to improve the drip resistance.

3. Insulation resistance: refers to the resistance between unconnected terminals, between terminals and uncharged metal parts, and between terminals and ground.

4. Withstand voltage: the critical value that will not cause insulation damage after applying high voltage for 1 minute at the specified measurement site. (Also known as 1 minute power frequency withstand voltage test)

5. Contact resistance: refers to the resistance of the contact part of the contact, but generally refers to the resistance value of the conductor including the spring and the terminal part.

6. Anti-vibration: when the vibration micro switch is used by mistake, the vibration range in which the contact of the vibration closed is not separated within the specified time.
